Hello and thank you for your curiosity about my existence and what propels my heart forward! Below is information about me.

-Originally from Chalmette, Louisiana (just 8 miles outside the city of New Orleans)

-Graduated with a BFA in performance from The University of Southern Mississippi and later received a Masters in the Art of Teaching from The University of New Orleans (certified 1st-5th grades).

-While being an active theatrical performer in New Orleans I taught at Trinity Episcopal School for a decade. (I didn’t sleep much then). As a classroom teacher, I strived to make learning highly engaging and applicable to students’ lives.

-Co-Founded and Co-Executive Director of Prescription Joy Therapeutic Healthcare Clowning Non-Profit. This organization is devoted to bringing humor and human connection into healing facilities (hospitals, shelters, etc.).

-Certified Death Doula with Going with Grace

-Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and SE Session Provider (Beginning Level)

I am passionate about disrupting institutions, whether they be medical, educational, or theoretical with joy, humor, and human connection. Institutions often mistakenly pride themselves on running like machines, when they should behave like organisms, which have a higher level balance between life and efficiency.
